I have been looking for an electrical extension cord heavy-duty caddy that holds a minimum of 100' of cord. There aren't really any listed in that category that have good reviews, however, some reviewers note that they use less-expensive water hose caddies with great success (less-expensive relative to other water hose caddies, not to extension cord caddies).

This product looks like a good candidate to use for an extension cord, and I am curious to know if anyone uses it for this? (I gave it 4 stars only bc this site would not accept my post without a rating and I did not want to skew the mfg's ratings for an ancillary issue.)

Cheaply made. Instructions are only pictures on the side of the box. The adapter to which you connect the hose extends out too far and it pinches the hose when you start to reel it. It leaks where the other end of the adapter connects to the spigot.

So I bought this for my 12-3 50 foot generator extension cords. This holds 2 of them no problem. You will be disappointed if you order this for a garden hose as it would only hold about 20 feet of hose. This product is made in Europe and they tend to have much smaller lots than here in the USA. Anyway when you order it look for the instructions to assemble it on the side of the box...... This would work well for an RV'er as well.
