Hey Amazon! Did you happen to notice this item is mostly a piece of glass? Why was it sent to me without proper packaging? I'm pretty sure Sunforce sent these units to Amazon in a properly protected box. Why not do the same for your customers.

I hope the new one I receive is not damaged.

I can't give any stars at this time, since I don't know if the product works or not. :(

I just want to share that I purchased a Sunforce 5 Watt Solar Battery Trickle Charger two years ago for testing a low voltage prototype system I designed and built. I must say I have put this product through the ringer! It has been in place ever since the first day it arrived. I even accidentaly kicked the panel and broke the glass plates last year and It still workes like a charm. I have not replaced it yet.This little beauty has gone through two years of seasonal changes without any hitches. I have ordered 10 more and have full confidence that this product insures an effective power source for my product and my customers. It's small compact design fits my requirements and I will continue using this product.
